Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive disturbances/dyspepsia and as a digestive tonic and bitter to help stimulate appetite and aid digestion (stomachic).
It is also used for fever and to prevent muscle spasms. Gentian is applied to the skin for treating wounds and cancer.
Directions: Adults: Take 0.8-1.6 mL (24-48 drops) 3 times daily in a little water 15-60 minutes before meals.
