Carrot seed oil is commonly used as well in natural DIY sunscreen recipes as it is a natural SPF 35-40 which doubles as an antispetic. Commonly combined with other oils containing SPF values such as:
Raspberry Seed Oil -SPF 28-50
Avocado Oil – SPF 4 - 10 (can get as high as 15)
Olive Oil – SPF 2-8
Shea Butter – SPF 3 – 6
Almond Oil – SPF 5
Jojoba Oil – SPF 4
Coconut Oil – SPF 2 – 8
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
