New Roots Herbal’s Coriolus versicolor extract is standardized to 40% polysaccharides. Coriolus versicolor, known by its common name “turkey tail” in North America, is treasured by herbalists and gaining popularity for its therapeutic properties throughout the world. Two of the water-soluble polysaccharides of coriolus, PSK and PSP, are credited with immune system–strengthening properties that have popularized this mushroom species. It has been used for cancer treatment, also to reduce the effects of chemo and radiation, increase energy, as an antioxidant, reduce blood sugar levels.
Directions: Take 1 capsule three times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Dosage can be increased up to 2 capsules two or three times daily.
